I spent most of the day reviewing my year with my coach and the rest of the guys and girls in his programme.
We review every quarter but the end of year one gives us a chance to have a look over everything that has happened during the past 12 months.
I know that us Checkleys are busy but looking back at how much we have actually achieved over the year was eye opening.
There was time allotted to measuring our wins and losses and what they both meant. Assessing whether the things we didn’t achieve are worth chasing or just putting to the side if they won’t add value to our lives.
My favourite part was reviewing my favourite experiences of the year, here are my top 5:
Diving through the waves in a very rough sea with friends on Fistral Beach in February for my 50th.
Horse riding with the kids and my nieces.
Wild camping with K in North Wales and a mountain lake dip before bed.
Paddle boarding and kayaking with Fran and the kids.
The Fance Dance hike with my mate.
One of the things highlighted for me in all areas of my life was that I achieve and enjoy so much more when it involves other people.
