Apologies for the lack of blogs / emails over the past 2 weeks.

I needed some time, losing Poppy left a massive hole in me.  I’ve simply felt less than my normal self, I had a cold, less sleep than usual and lacked any oomph.

I’ve exercised but not at any intensity and food choices haven’t been that well informed.

Grief is something that we all deal with in very different ways; there are no right or wrong ways.  Pop was my friend, confidant and eager partner for adventures, slow ones but still adventures.

I slacked on the things that I know help me feel better; journalling, breathing and meditation sessions, eating vegetables and getting a good sweat on.  Almost as a method of not feeling good would help get the grief out.

We start a new block of bootcamp tomorrow and I’m using it as a chance to have a reset myself, to be the person Pop saw me as.

I don’t know how many exercise sessions, nutritious meals or meditations it takes to feel better.  I just know that when I include those things in my daily routines I have more energy, sleep better, get less stressed.

All of those things take time but time is our most important commodity; we deserve some of that time to feel good.

It’s not too late to join us tomorrow and get in to a routine with food and exercise that makes life a little easier.
