It was a pretty tough workout this morning to complete the final week of our last 5 week block.

I must have done way over 100 press ups in total, broken down in to blocks from 1 to 10.

As a result, I had what is known in the trade as a pump.  My chest, shoulders and arms were full from the workout; we used to train hard on a Friday night before hitting town for a party.

The bigger muscles only last a few minutes but this morning, it got the attention of my daughter.

She asked me to do the Pec Pop of Love, it’s from the film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

It’s worth a watch, in it The Rock gives his stepson some advice on winning a girls attention – https://youtu.be/apQPaduDRVw

The kids thought it was hilarious, and ask me at random times to do it.

Admittedly I haven’t got the Pec Pop skill, looks or finesse of Dwayne Johnson but it makes me feel like the kids hero.

And that is one of the best reasons for doing any fitness training, to be able to play at the park with your kids and do the occasional Pec Pop 🙂

The type of training we do at bootcamp builds strength, cardio, flexibility and mobility.  The type of fitness that improves your ability to do daily tasks easily and the occasional Pec Pop.

We start a fresh block on Monday,
