Your whole world can change.

Things happen outside of our control that can alter how everything functions in our world.

We all deal with events in different ways.

All I can tell you is that the more you practice the better you become at dealing with stuff you can’t control.

By practice, I mean controlling your thoughts, learning to process your emotions, having space to consider your options.

For me, journaling and meditation have really helped.  I’ve been a little slack on the latter recently and I know it.

I journal every morning and evening, not reams of pages just a few questions answered about my day ahead and assessing in the evening.  It really helps me.

Taking some time out also helps, a workout, a bit of combat, a ride on my bike, a walk in the park are all things I try to get in regularly to keep my brain happy.

The world is changing, we can’t control it.

We can all try to be good people who support each other to be and do better.  Being in a strong place physically and mentally helps you do that.

We need to help each other shine our lights so brightly the world becomes illuminated with kindness.

It’s not all bad, good can happen quickly too.

Last week, Mela was in a Romanian kill shelter. This week, she moved in to a friends house and will live a life of love and walks (pic on the blog).

If you can do something kind today, do it without hesitation.
