I’ve been treating somebody for a persistent neck issue in my injury clinic for the past few weeks, we were getting improvements but not to a level I was happy with.
Something wasn’t clicking, so I did what I advise everyone to do – I asked for help.
I sent my learning mentor a message with my theories and he confirmed that it was beyond my skill level. I hired him to jump on a zoom call and he guided me through the assessment and treatment protocol. It was only this afternoon but I’m confident we’ve cleared the issue.
I’ve worked on asking for help before it becomes critical, not just in work but in life. I think one of the reasons our kids are doing well is because we have worked with experts and therapists throughout our journey.
Children are complex, parenting is hard. Parenting children with additional and challenging needs adds an extra layer of spice.
I treat so many people who have been suffering with an injury for months, even years because Barry down the pub had the same thing and it just got better in the end. Or Jess in the post office said to rub some donkeys’ saliva in to your toe nails for relief of your elbow pain.
Asking someone who has trained and has years of experience in the issues you have for help sppeds up the process of getting past that problem; be it fitness, injury, diet or where to get donkey salvia from.
As always we’re here for you.
