Where you are now is a direct reflection of the journey you have taken so far.

Whether that is your current fitness level or the shape of your body.

I’m currently hovering around 89-90kg; my goal is to be at 85kg the end of this quarter (early October).  This has been a long term goal that I really only started taking seriously at the start of the year.

The problem is the hovering, I’ve been at 89-90kg for the past 3-4 weeks.  The work I have done / method used got me here; however, it’s not taking me further.

I need to change some things around a little.  My fitness training has been less consistent over the past few weeks and I’ve been grabbing a few extra snacks.

I aim for 2000 kcal per day averaged over the week.  I’m not prepared to take that lower at the minute, which means I need to be more consistent with my fitness training and general activity.

I feel good on that amount of calories and don’t struggle for energy; it also allows for some treats which helps keep me on track.

As I have mentioned lots of times before; your diet should be about making you feel good and your exercise should be the same.

I don’t believe exercise should be used as a form of punishment for poor food choices.

That’s not what I’m doing; by being more consistent I will improve my fitness and my goal over the next 8 weeks is to try and get my left arm and left knee as close to full strength as I can.  I’m still having a few issues from my bicycle crash last year.

Improving strength and muscle density has a positive affect on fat loss.
