During a yoga class yesterday the instructor said to focus on the in between and not just the final movement / posture.

Outside of yoga we should do the same, not just focus on the big events or end goals but pay attention to the journey and enjoy it.

In health and fitness, we can become too obsessed with hitting our targets and then being disappointed when the progress isn’t linear.

If we focus on the process and improving rather than just the end goal, it becomes more enjoyable.

Our home bootcampers, notice how much they have improved each month during the first week when we focus on movement and technique.

Each week has a slightly different focus and they get to feel the difference in their bodies as they become stronger.

Strength and mobility are the main components that help us feel better as we get a little older, the simple act of getting up and down off the floor is much easier when your body works well.

If you want to feel the benefits of a stronger more mobile body, join us for our next block staring on Monday – https://achievebootcamp.co.uk

I haven’t forgotten about Movember, I’ll post details tomorrow.  I’ve been busy with the kids over the last couple of days getting ready for Halloween and it’s wiped us all out.
