I don’t seem to have an off switch for sweet stuff, I never get the “ooo, this is tasty but I could only eat one slice as it’s so rich / sweet / insert your own limit”.
I’ve eaten a load of Lindor and the M&S equivalent for my tea; if your tracking calories, don’t even look at the box.
It seems our kids have the same skill; lets see if we make it through the night first before claiming that. A started munching his way through a smarties egg and contents as we were about to head up for bed.
We’ve had an amazing Easter Sunday.
I started mine out on my mountain bike cycling down the local bridlepaths and canals with some friends, then came back to get a butterflied leg of lamb on the barbie. I marinated it overnight and it was amazing.
It was a glorious day and we spent most of it in the garden, a bit over the park and finished with a chill on the sofa.
Some friends and family popped over to bring some Easter goodies for us and the kids. We could open a chocolatiers.
While Fran put the kids to bed, I took Poppy out for a little walk around the village; it was still busy out there with lots of people enjoying a nice evening stroll and being rewarded with a stunning sky.
It made me thankful that I have my health and can enjoy an active day and still have energy at the end of it to take in a little more.
Exercise should add to your quality of life, give you the strength and endurance to do anything that you WANT to do.
If you want to feel the benefits of a fitter, healthier body, now is the time to start and coincidentally we start a new block of Bootcamp tomorrow 😉
