A brand new all-inclusive outdoor fitness class for parents, carers and guardians of pre-schoolers…
45 minutes of fun and exercise in the great outdoors!

Hi! My name is Fran – welcome to Buggy Beat 🙂
Nearly 2 years ago I adopted a baby and a toddler and what a shock to the system that was! I went from being a pretty fit 40 year old with all the time in the world to sleep, eat healthily, exercise and generally look after my self (and my business) to a sleep-deprived, non-make up wearing, dirty clothes wearing, sugar-craving zombie!
The transition to living with 2 little strangers was a VERY steep learning curve – and whilst we are doing pretty good these days I still don’t have a great deal of time to exercise or do ANY of the things I did before.
The toddler is already at school and the baby is now a lively 3 year old who does a few hours at nursery. But when I saw my friend and fitness colleague Rachel Holmes had launched a new fitness concept called Buggy Beat I jumped at the chance to train as I thought it would be the perfect way to combine all the things I like to do – exercise outdoors, spend time with my boy and meet some mums/dads or even nannys/grandads my age.
Buggy Beat sessions are designed for ANYONE looking after a pre-schooler – it’s NOT a post-natal specific class, rather a mixed-level outdoor cross-training class for EVERYONE!
I know how difficult it is to fit exercise in when looking after a little one (or two..or three!) – your options for exercise are really limited…
…you can possibly find a mum and tots session but these are few and far between.
…and what if you’re not the ‘mum’, do you feel self-conscious? Especially if the session really focuses on ‘post-natal things’ like pelvic floors…
…your other option is to pay for your little one to go to the creche at the gym or centre whilst you train – this doubles the cost of your training and can be really worrisome if you aren’t used to leaving him/her. Even if you can get some free childcare it can be really time-consuming dropping off, trekking to the gym then the pick up on the way back.
…you might BE the childcare – childminder/nanny/grandma/grandad/foster carer/aunt/uncle/friend – so getting additional childcare while you exercise isn’t really practical!
If any of this sounds like you then I’d love to welcome you along to a FREE TRIAL session at Hawkesbury Village/Sutton Stop on Thursday 24th May at 10am.
To book onto the session please either text or email me to reserve your place.
