We’re still in that strange Christmas break limbo where we’re starting to get back to work but aren’t really in a set routine yet.

The kids are generally feral but have found new levels of wildness, being cooped up with mainly Fran and I for company.  I had to take them running on Wednesday just to try and burn off some energy.

To make it worse, they don’t go back to school until Tuesday; aaaarrrrggghhhh!

Did you make a start on your new diet or exercise plan on New Years Day or are you stuffing the remainder of the Christmas treats in because you’re starting on Monday?

Or are you some where in the middle?

Doing a little exercise and eating more vegetables but ultimately still grabbing a handful of celebrations to help a biscuit go down.

I had the realisation that I’m doing the Coventry Way in 13 weeks and hadn’t really ran since my bike crash in May.  My knee and shoulder are still hooky and I’ve used that as a bit of an excuse to not get started, I’ve done lots of rehab, so I’m hoping they’ll hold out.

It also meant that I went for a little run down the canal and I’ve set the turbo trainer up in the garage; I’ve even written the first 4 weeks of my new training plan.

I didn’t hold back much on food over Christmas either so have a few extra pounds to carry too.  So I’ve tracked my calories since Wednesday just to get an idea where I’m at.

Are you making any changes this year?

If fitness and nutrition are on the cards, how about joining us from Monday.  We have our awesome 4 week plan available and also a 7 week block to help you commit to a little further in to the year.

There’s a pretty decent discount for committing to the 7 weeks too, check it out at https://achievebootcamp.co.uk/selected/

If there is anything you want to ask me, please let me know.  The media and social media are full of all sorts of random information at this time of year that it can become confusing for us guys that do it for a job.

P.S. I had a message from Tim regarding our hangover offer to join the Lean Greens subscription plan and receive a pack of amber boost and drift off formula for free.  Both awesome products in there own right, here’s the link to order the greens:

Lean Greens Powder Drink & Supplements

Once signed up send an email to Ellie at Lean Greens (support@leangreens.co.uk) and ask to add the hangover pack to your first order.
You don’t need to have a hangover to benefit  😉
