So you have a goal or an event you’re aiming for.
You have broken down the time available in to chunks and organised a plan.
How do you ensure you succeed?
Being in the best HEALTH possible, everything improves when you focus on improving health.
Fitness automatically goes up because when you prioritise health, food choices tend to be better, meaning you become leaner. Every measure of fitness takes in to account your body mass, if you are leaner you tend to weigh less too.
Your aerobic fitness is improved, your strength ratios improve.
We’re working our way through the basics of improving your health and a priority needs to be sleep. Starting at the end of your day, focusing on a bed time routine too ensure better sleep quality.
I’ll cover in more detail over the coming weeks but the simple version is; turn screens off at least 30 minutes before lights out, a little calming breath work, your bedroom being coolish and write down anything going through your head that is causing you stress.
We can also start at the end of your sleep to make the next nights sleep better quality too. Getting a little morning exercise in, a 10 minute pulse raiser would work, that can be a brisk walk around the block. Spending a little time outside when the daytime starts also gives your brain clock a little reset.
I’ve just read that today is officially “Quitters Day”, the day that you are most likely to quit on your resolutions if you made them and go back to the routines that led you to make resolutions in the first place.
Get a session in tomorrow to prove you’re not the average person, don’t settle for average; you’re better than that.
