Our main achieve bootcamp website doesn’t appear to be working. Maybe it is having a couple of snow days.
The country seems to have stopped because of the weather we’ve had over the past couple of days.
Personally I don’t think it’s that bad out there.
Coventry and Warwickshire Councils have both done a pretty good job on the main roads.
I’ve been over to teach Kung Fu in Warwick this morning and then went panic buying eggs and milk on my Mum’s orders and dropped them in to her (she really just wanted some company and wanted me to drop baking stuff off so I could hang out for a bit).
Don’t get me wrong, if you don’t feel safe driving around or are not confident driving in the snow. Take some time out at home and chill out with your family.
I have seen some horrendous driving on my travels today. 4×4 drivers forgetting that just because they can go forwards quickly, doesn’t mean they can stop quickly. A skip driver doing close to 40mph on a 30 road early this morning when the roads were slippy.
There are basic rules for driving in this type of weather and if everyone followed them the roads would be a lot safer.
The same is the same with nutrition for weight loss.
We all know what we should be doing, eating more vegetables etc, it just takes longer. So we search for any method we can to get us there a little quickly.
Ultimately there is a slip (poor pun intended), a bump and a rebound which then leads to us taking longer overall.

PS The weather man says it is getting warmer from tomorrow, so it won’t be that bad on Monday. It must have been cold yesterday morning because Louise still had her hoody on at the end of the session. Next I’ll be told Kathryn had leggings on to go running 🙂
