It’s been too many weeks since I last wrote a message, email, blog or social media post.

There isn’t a real reason why, just a perceived one.

I was feeling less than me than I normally do, I had an injury that really affected my mojo and how I thought about myself.

I’ve still been busy in my therapy cabin and everyone I’ve spoken to has said how much they enjoy my musings, yet I ignored the evidence and defaulted to thinking I didn’t have anything worth saying, to which one replied “that’s foolish”.

Not coincidentally, I haven’t been doing my journal or the other things that keep me focussed and on track.

On Friday, I went up to Manchester to see my coach for a quarterly event and it gave me the kick in the ass I needed to get started again.

I’ve started journaling again and I’m working on what will be my next 90 days worth of goals.  My tendency after a lull is to go for something extreme, this time I’m going with simple and basic steps that make me more me.

The start of a new quarter is a good time to reflect and appreciate the past 3 months.  Something my coach said that really hit home was the body you are currently wearing isn’t due to the salad you ate yesterday but the consistent actions or excuses you’ve used since Christmas.

Consistency as always is the key.
