Hey there – how is everyone doing this week? I’m looking forward to the promise of some slightly better weather over the Bank Holiday weekend (fingers crossed!)
First thing this week is an apology (of sorts…) and a thank you.
Some of the readers said I made them feel bad with the amount of stuff I fit in and did in the previous week (especially the first one!)…
They were only joking…!? But, it did make me think about our perception of others….
Their perception of me is of some sort of super woman, achieving all these amazing things…
..BUT…
in reality I feel very far from a ‘super woman’ who is managing it all coolly and calmly!
On a regular basis I suffer major overwhelm and anxiety about how much I’ve got to do, am I working hard enough? bringing in enough money to the business? being there enough for the little ones? Let alone all the ‘daily grind’ stuff we have to deal with – shopping, what are we going to eat, washing, cleaning the house, walking the dogs, the list goes on…My social life is non-existent, I have no time for my friends and no foreseeable change to these circumstances.
I’m really grateful for all the people who come to my classes as every single one is lovely and I get some much needed adult interaction 🙂
So, firstly – sorry if my emails make it sound like I’ve got it all together – the truth is far from that! Secondly, thank you for coming to my classes – I really do appreciate every single one of you xx
Just a quick bit of news about Buggy Beat this week…
I’ve literally just finished my Buggy Beat qualification – I emailed the assignments over to the course tutor just before I started this newsletter. My certification should be back tomorrow so I’m really excited to get my sessions up and running.
The two venues I’ve selected are Sutton Stop/Hawkesbury Village on a Thursday morning at 10am and Bulkington Recreation Ground on a Friday morning also at 10am.
The sessions run for 45 minutes and are NOT just for post-natal mums. They are suitable for ALL parents…carers…guardians of babies and/or toddlers. Grandparents…foster carers/guardians…nannys/childminders…mums…dads…aunties…uncles – basically anyone who looks after a pre-schooler. Everyone is welcome.
My free trials will run on Thursday 17th May at Sutton Stop/Hawkesbury Village and Friday 18th May at Bulkington.
Classes will then start the week after the Spring Bank Holiday half-term week.
If you – or anyone you know is interested in these sessions please join my Facebook group to keep up to date with all things Buggy Beat – and meet the other attendees.
Spread the word to your friends who look after little ones.
Many thanks and see you next time!
Fran ‘superwoman’ Checkley xx
