Happy St Patrick’s Day to all that celebrate.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on the traditional Craven Street run or just an all-dayer, drinking Guiness, Caffrey’s and Baileys for the only time of the year.

How times have changed, I’m still not quite right from being drunk last weekend for the first time in four years.

St Patrick’s Day was always good fun and a reminder to have fun and be silly.

I think sometimes we need a little reminder to not take life too seriously.  To not focus only on the end goal and enjoy the journey we’re on together.

Life is short and we need to remember to live it.

Take some time to plan a bit of free time to enjoy just being; that could be on your own, with friends or family.

In nature, the cinema, a bar or having some food.

Enjoy and appreciate the people around you, you never know when they’ll be gone.
